Our History

We were established in late 2002 and have grown the business consistently year on year. We attained Microsoft Gold Certification in May 2007 and are also a Microsoft Small Business Specialist Partner. In 2011 we were acquired and merged with Bluecube Technology Solutions. This merger not only gives us greater technical capability and coverage it also firmly cements our Cloud Computing and Managed Service capabilities.

Our Service

We distinguish ourselves from other IT support companies in four distinct ways:
  • We only provide IT support to companies within a half hour travel time from our office. This ensures a rapid response time should you need onsite assistance. You can rest assured in the knowledge that your dedicated team of IT professionals is no more than a half hour away if there is major IT issue.
    • In addition to this we have a dedicated team for companies within a half hour walk from our office based near Oxford Circus. Typically this service is for companies in London postcode W1.
  • We only provide support to companies with between two and seventy five computers. This ensures you are not competing for time with any 'golden goose' customers and means that we can assure you that all of our clients are treated equally.
  • We specialise in IT consultancy, project implementation and support for small businesses. We're so good at what we do that Microsoft has awarded us Gold Certification. Many other companies provide a whole suite of services from online backup to website design. We believe that it's more efficient to spend 100% of our time trying to perfect one skill rather than attaining competency at many. You can also rest assured that we won't be spending our time trying to up sell you other products and services.
  • Our support package ensures that we keep our interests closely aligned. We provide unlimited telephone, remote and onsite support for a fixed monthly fee. This ensures that when we need to resolve an issue we need to do it efficiently and at the first attempt. If we have to resolve the same issues repeatedly then we'll be losing money on the relationship.

Director profiles

Andrew Cruise grew up in Cape Town, South Africa. He read Mathematics at Gonville & Caius College, Cambridge. He worked for several years as a Corporate Financier at Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein in London before co-founding Hypercubic. Andrew now plays a key role in the merged company, with a focus on the London market.

James Hawker founded Bluecube Technology Solutions in March 2003, after ten intensive years in IT Systems and IT Recruitment industries. The Open University and Canfield School of Management named James as Bright Sparc Young Technology Entrepreneur of the year in 2008 in recognition of his personal drive, entrepreneurial flair and ability to develop the commercial opportunities available to him. Since then James has received several awards and recognition for his charitable initiatives, all of which evolve around the delivery of technology services and solutions.
